Had Dorsets but never Cheviots.
We too preferred the masked Hampshires and Suffolks. Nice family portrait none the less. Looks like the little one is off to a good start !

Nice collection Mahn ! Nice work, love the wren.

I'm way over the 400K shutter and noticing my images looking a little soft... time to get the shutter looked at and maintenance!

I think the 1DX likes the 1.4X better than my 1D IV. Of course, it should.... the 1D IV is getting a bit long in the tooth.

I am really happy that i got 1DX, i was hoping to get 1D4 after 1D3 but i wasn't in good situation financially, but it is like i passed 1D4 to get something better, and regardless this camera is a full frame but the quality somehow satisfying me more than the reach.

Pity that Canon isn't planning to bring any 1 series crop factor camera anymore, i still prefer 1 series over non 1 series bodies all the time, but maybe it is time to look at different brands too, i don't have things to shoot needing backup bodies, but i hope when that time is coming to find a backup body to my 1DX, or to buy a new body strong that will make my 1DX as a backup body, i can't afford 1DXii now, but who knows in 1 year or two rom now what will be my photography situation and financial situation.

I will think to start birding when possible as i feel sports isn't so much popular here and i mean soccer, birds and wildlife became like the most topic here with this camera, let's see what i can find.

Media pit madness at Style Fashion Week LA!!! It's amazing that you can fit so many photographers (and their gear) in such a small space... But we made it happen!!!


And this is what the media pit is looking at... The beautiful backdrop of the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, California... Beautiful venue during the day, but at night, it's a totally different vibe!! More images to come!!!

There WAS one, Julian... Someone on the top left of the media riser was shooting with a 400 2.8L IS... LOL... Can't see it in the pic, though... Can't imagine the close up is with the 400!!! Probably only from the torso up... Hehehehe...

Oh i forgot to add that if i want to start for birding with this camera then at least i need a long prime or longer zoom, maybe i will stuck with sports then and ignore birding until i get lucky and have one of those long primes.
