It's Canada's 150th Birthday & Vintage Wings Canada has gone through a bit of a re organization process which included moving their Wings over Gatineau fund raiser from mid summer to late April which could have very iffy weather. If things work out it's going to be a great event with several of their collection flying along with several other performers. You need to hover your mouse over each photo to see who has confirmed but some will just be as static displays.

Adam Baker in his Extra 330LX, N330PB

Understand that he is about to unveil a new paint scheme for this season. Should be interesting.

Just kinda a poll, because I've had mixed results on my end. When your shooting slow shutter speeds (1/60-1/250) to get the prop blur, are yall using Image stabilization? I didn't for the longest time then started to then went back to not using it.

I use mode 2 IS on my 100-400 for panning shots like that.

I use the IS or OS in it's panning mode on the 28-300 L IS, 100-400 L IS & Sigma 150-600 C. If a lens doesn't specifically state it has a panning mode of IS (like the 24-105 L IS) it should be OFF.

Not big on jets, I like prop blur, but your #1 shot is very cool!.

Would you be open to a suggestion?

I love seeing motion in my shots (when I can), which is why I was shooting at 1/160, and even though you don't see much prop blur (since it's a profile shot) I really liked this shot. To me, it almost looks like I was in another plane, and we were above the clouds, with me shooting down at them.

Sorry about the low resolution, the high resolution version is obviously better.
