Especially with the D500, its a magical pairing. Also hard to beat with D750 and D7200.

Shoot weddings with a Nikon D750

Pros: -On point Focusing in the darkest lighting -Amazing dynamic range, great raw recovery -Quick accurate focus -Decent file size compared to D810 -Excellent for wedding photography !!

Cons: Grip although deep is too narrow (prefer chunkier grip), shutter broke down and had to be fixed after 1 year (seems very common, Nikon did free repair). Although Nikon has been ahead of the curve in many ways their QC has been absolutely horrendous.

Hi -

My 1st 35mm SLR was a Canon Ftb in 1974. In the 80s I got my first Nikon SLR, a new black FE2 with a 50mm 1.8 lens.
I've had lots of digicams since about 2002. I had some Coolpix 3 or 4 MP. I used mostly Canon dSLRs for several years, also Panasonic, and Sony.
2 or 3 months ago I got a Nikon dSLR and fell in love with the pics I sometimes get with it. Ever since then I haven't looked back. I now have several used Nikon dSLRs. I use mostly a D3100 or a D40. They both suit me fine. I appreciate the build quality and the way they operate. No other brand can compare to the colors, contrast, and sharpness. At least not to my eyes.

I got my FTb in 1967 and was a loyal Canon shooter until someone let me play with their D800.
