During March, there were many foggy mornings at home. I brought my Fuji and photographed some fog in black and white and I also got use of their mobile app. It went smoothly. I love fog it creates a unique feeling in the pictures.

Love the second shot, the isolation of the few trees are cool.

Even at F/16 the 90mm F/2 is not deep enough. I'd have to take at least two images and stack them or shoot from further away and crop in...

Edit - added in a second shot so the top plate is in focus.

Autopsy table in a historic Vancouver Police Museum. Just thinking these tables were in actual use in examining post mortem bodies!

Does anyone have a X-T20 on back order? Seems like no one has it in stock yet Fuji has discounted the price by $50.00 what gives.

If you're ever in the Chicagoland area, I can arrange for you to see one of these in use.

I like the processing on this first shot, but the framing and tilt is a little weird, I find myself wanting to tilt my head to the left when viewing it.

There's an abandoned mental hospital near where I live that I really want to go shoot at, but there's a security guard who patrols the grounds :(

Have some examples of your work with you and strike up a conversation with him to see if you can shoot inside. Even if he doesn't have the authority to allow it, he might have contact info for someone who does. It's pretty rare that people tell you to just buzz off if they see you are serious about photography.

That would be such a great experience to shoot in such an environment :)

True, worst he could do is say "No.". I'll have to give it a shot sometime... it's a really creepy/eerie compound. A friend and I did sneak in there when we were in highschool just to check the place out, we left after about 15 minutes 'cause we were creeped out

Field of rapeseed between my house and my parents, wish it was sunny out, though the light has nice enough. Astia.

That sounds like a great idea for a project.

Thanks for the Wiki link.

If you are really serious about this, you might want to write up a proposal about documenting this historically significant site. Keep it short but specific. A written proposal puts you on a very different level from 99% of the people asking for permission. :)

That hospital has a lot of history. Definitely worth documenting.
