The Pinnacles Nambung National Park West Aust

The Pinnacles is a small desert about 200 klm north of Perth. The towers were form 1,000's years ago & are still changing as more sand is eroded.

As per usual, the best time to shoot is sunrise / sunset

Or even after dark. This is a small shot of the Milky Way. Because of the distance from major towns, there is minimal light pollution.

Thanks. Cervantes is a couple of hours north of Perth. Well worth the drive to stay overnight, catch sunset sun rise & a bit of astro in between! Very spooky when you're there alone after dark!
