Hows about a beaver done in a painting affect. I find it fascinating ... what we can do with an image. yes it blurs it a bit but par for the course.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol N37 OHP (N37 'Ocean' HP)

Ocean 37 flies again. In 1990 Ocean 37 died, Joe Nicolle's helicopter hit power lines near Tahlequah and crashed. Nicolle - a pilot for the Oklahoma Highway Patrol - was killed. His unit number, "Ocean 37," died with him. No one would hear his number crackling over the trooper's radio system again. in 2001 this Bell 206C was commissioned N37 OHP. N37 OHP - has a special significance for OHP patrol pilots. In radio parlance, the O in OHP is pronounced "Ocean." Add that to the figures that precede it and Nicolle's number comes back to life.

Photo was taken yesterday at a small fly-in @ McAlester Oklahoma

Do you have a resident population of Canada geese in the UK, or are these rare visitors?

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

According to the RSPB there are 62,000 pairs resident in the UK and 190,000 wintering birds. They were originally introduced from the USA.

In a bit of a love hate relationship with this camera, there are points where the photos come out sharp as a tack and then completely blows it. I've tried all of the AF cases and really only get decent results with Case 1, maybe using the 1Dx for a weekend spoiled me.

I remember back In the day when I posted a Fox or Pine Marten people were ecstatic.. How times change. These eye's I could never get use to..
Getting out is not easy as its been raining here for a couple weeks and town is now flooded and under water up as high as the flood of 2013. feel sorry for those in the low area's. My house on the hill is high and dry. One of my fav beaver ponds blew right through the road and took out two or three very large ponds. There completely dry now, I think 6 feet of water rushed out of the pond taking everything. the land and beaver hut are now relocated. not sure how thats gona go over with the beaver. Took this video the only day the sun came out in a while. The county has not fixed the road but the beavers have started work already.
