5D4 & 200 F2 and a single 24x36 softbox and 360II setup on my desk with a 13x19 photo paper.

A simple quick effective setup for selling stuff :)

Just got done with my youngest birthday party. My wife took photos that she wanted w/ the Fuji and I video'd in 4K.

1. F4 not enough on video for 4K frame grab in low light venues
2. Need something like 35mm F2 IS or Tamron 1.8 VC for this task
3. However I havew already printed this 4x6 and Frame grab produces usable prints and the wife and I are happy to have both worlds now.

Anyhow here's a frame grab. 1/125 and F4... not sure where the ISO was but probably in the 3200-6400 range w/ the lights off and 1/60 and ISO 25600 w/ the lights off I zoomed in and the focus was on the cake more. Live view performance is top notch but wish there was a way to control the focus square size in video mode to a smaller size.

I really must try out the 4K frame grab feature. It's kinda like shooting at 30 FPS.

I don't even know how to do it.

Works great but understand it's limitations. Rolling shutter means it's not great for fast motion but stuff like blowing out candles or general stuff it could be. Also you really need to have white balance, exposure nailed since your going to get a 8mp capture from the video. I shot at 1/125 which means the video won't look as good as it would of been shot at 1/60. Typically you shoot at 2x your fps on video but at 1/60 there would be too much motion blur during head movements so I jacked it up to 1/125 (also a good number to reduce lighting flicker) so I could get something usable and I did... not great but it's perfectly fine for social media, wife and 4x6 prints (for this lowlight stuff).

I've printed 13x19 from outdoor good light stuff and it's really really really good.

here is a behind the scene look at what I do. I leave the softbox there 100% of the time so I can grab it if I need it. The paper I usually just slide back in my cabinet so I can tape it real quick. I shoot the 360 strobe in TTL mode and do +1. The trigger stays in the left side of my hutch in the glass part.

simple quick effective :)
