crazy good

Hockey and wedding photographer. Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.

Just for giggles, I found an under-exposed photo I took this afternoon/evening and decided to just bump the Shadow slider to 100 and see what happens. :D I love this camera.

I went to my first airshow of the year this past Saturday at the Heritage Flight Museum at Skagit County Airport. Here are a few of the "photojournalist" shots.

This is Major General William Anders and his son Alan. General Anders is best known for being an astronaut on Apollo 8 and taking the very famous "Earthrise" photo. He and two of his sons own and operate the Heritage Flight Museum.

Craig Nelson at the controls of a T-6 Texan.

Even at age 83, General Anders still flies regularly. He's in a Beechcraft T-34 Mentor.

This is Lt. Col. Greg Anders (another son of General Anders). He's in his T-6 Texan named Hog Wild Gunner (thus the mascot behind him).

Craig Nelson again, this time with a lucky passenger.

Image editing ok; C&C always welcome.

Special thanks to Shadow Hills for telling me where.
We only had 2 hours to hike up/down, find one. We hoped hoped hoped
we'd see one and we did! This one sat and sat, out waiting me and then the
Sun fell behind the ridge and we had to leave, but still thrilled for my first and
