Thanks, they hover ( unfortunately on my deck ) so it's not that hard. I tried with the 1.4x and got some that looked pretty good but it was hard with just the center point.

I went to my first airshow of the year this past Saturday at the Heritage Flight Museum at Skagit County Airport. Here are a few of the "photojournalist" shots.

This is Major General William Anders and his son Alan. General Anders is best known for being an astronaut on Apollo 8 and taking the very famous "Earthrise" photo. He and two of his sons own and operate the Heritage Flight Museum.

Craig Nelson at the controls of a T-6 Texan.

Even at age 83, General Anders still flies regularly. He's in a Beechcraft T-34 Mentor.
IMAGE: http://www.lj3.com/1dx2/hfm_may_c.jpg

This is Lt. Col. Greg Anders (another son of General Anders). He's in his T-6 Texan named Hog Wild Gunner (thus the mascot behind him).

Craig Nelson again, this time with a lucky passenger.

Based on only seeing the darker head behind the tree, the orange webbed feet, brown breast and blue stripe on the wing it looks like the Bald eagle may be enjoying a Mallard duck.

Nice series of images, too.

That's very likely correct. There are lots of mallards in the area. Thanks!
