Well I am sorry we only had 2 entries this week.....
1st Place-Cory: I always find dandelions to be so complex when shot in macro.

2nd Place-Teekay: I love seeing the inner pieces of flowers. The tulip is lovely.

Thank you both for entering.

Admirable flower shots, both of them. Maureen, I have macros, but I held back because winning is always possible and I wasn't prepared to host the next round. A new computer (long overdue) is coming today. I may be in computer hell for a while. Better to duck a responsibility than to accept it and disappear over the horizon.

Congratulations to Cory - and a sigh of relief that I'm #2.;-)a

You deserved to get more entries this week, Maureen, as the subject was simple enough even for those of us who don't take many macros.

Congratulations to Cory and Teekay...excellent photos.

Sorry I missed this one Maureen as it was an excellent and challenging contest. I was out of pocket all week with my wife in the hospital undergoing double bypass surgery and having a pacemaker implanted. I got her home this afternoon and she is on the road to recovery :-). I hope to get back into the next challenge.

Congrats to Cory. 2 entries or 20, that shot deserved #1.

Sorry about not entering. My macro attempts with the G1X Mk 1 have been pretty pathetic.

Thanks for hosting Maureen, it wasn't a problem with the topic, just my abilities.

Steve

Congratulations Cory - absolutely gorgeous shot.
Thanks for Hosting Maureen - so sorry I didn't enter - I had nothing in the bag and no time to get out this week.
Must do better this week.

Jim, I think your excuse for not entering is much better than mine! All joking aside, I am wishing your wife a speedy recovery. Take care -BOTH of you.
Carolyn

Thanks for the hosting and judging Maureen. I too was hoping for quite a few more entries, some of those G-Series have great macro capabilities.

Nice tulip, teekay.

Cory knocked it out of the park at the outset. Stellar shot.

Other than my LL Bean watch shot, which I think already won a contest, I didn't have any shots available and haven't had time to come up with new shots. I fact, I can't remember the last time I pushed a shutter button. It's been at least a month or more.
