WOW.....What a superb camera, it feels like a D200, responds like a D300 has the credentials of a D4, weight of a D90 on a slight diet, its beautiful, sublime and brilliant I Love it :-P

I am surprised that there hasn't been any comments on the D7100, it is a very very good camera and very popular and from what i have read - the best DX camera Nikon have ever built.

Folks im on body number Two and now its combined with the rather good nikkor 300 f4 IF ED, the results from it are stunning and easily the best I have gotten out of any camera/lens set up I have owned.

The AF on mine is dependable and accurate so I have no complaints there like I did with a previous body I owned, the banding in dark areas that need lifting - I have not seen even when I have pulled the darks up by 2 full stops, and the buffer is no problem for me as I never use the continous drive, and with a fast card 80mb or above - the files load onto it Real fast.

Its a perfect rounded system that does as It should:-):-):-)

I got the D7200 a few months ago. Great camera. I'm getting excellent results with it and a few modest Nikkor lenses. The IQ and focus are particularly good.

I have no experience with the D7100, but I've read that there's not much difference.
