I feel a little ashamed to be uploading iPhone6 photos to this forum, but often with landscapes it has a lot to do with how lucky a subject you're able to capture rather than the quality of equipment you have at hand.

There is something about falling water that is just so tranquil that I can just sit and zone out for hours looking and listening to the song the water makes as it crashes over the rocks. Many millennia of falling water has carved and sculpted that central rock into a really interesting shape that showcases the ribbons of water flowing over its surface. This was taken in the Columbia Gorge last fall.

That's so good it's even ok if it's in the wrong year thread ;-)a Something Cole Thompson might have done. Nice feel to it, sort of a mysterious other worldly feel.

Ha, I didn't even realize about the year. I've got over a 100+ images in my "To Be Processed" pile, I probably won't be posting any of those in the "Best of 2013" thread :)
