Hi guys, I was curious how much better the 24-70 GM was on a cropped body and went out to buy it. Turns out that both lenses were comparable, with the GM showing slightly smoother bokeh only.

Does anyone else have the same experience, or is it that my GM wasn't a good enough copy?

Very tempted to upgrade to a7rii, but i will lose the AF capabilities and 6k oversampling on the video portion.

opinions welcome!

it is a known fact that FF lenses don't perform as well on APS-C bodies, and on top of that... you're asking for a comparison of a full frame zoom vs a prime, let alone, an APS-C prime
