Not necessarily a 'best' but I was practicing with a new software programme (ON1 Photo Raw) and thought I'd post it for comments. Photographed during avisit to a Shanghai water town with a sky texture added.

Let me ask..........

What do you like about ON1 Photo Raw?

What don't you like about it?

Don't even begin to think I'm criticizing your images.
Just a natural curiosity.

Wow. We lost our "Buddy" this past year, a very old dear friend. The look in your dogs eye reminds me so much of him. The look shows the interest and intelligence these dogs show as they mature. A wonderful friend.

But get it printed on a proper traditional black and white silver halide paper. I would go with Ilford MGIV FB Bayata as my paper choice, but the standard RC paper is very good too. Certainly not cheap, but it does end up looking great. You can get prints on Ilford paper from Whitewall.com (external link).

Always wanted to do something similar with the ferns outside my building. Was that just sunlight?

No open shade with some lightroom magic.

Open shade or overcast days always work best for these kind of things.
