Lots of standing water in George Bush Park, unfortunately, more rain today and heavy overcast. White birds are my nemesis but I took a chance, with the overcast and this big boy was so close.

Just after this shot, he caught a small water creature.

This is handheld, out the SUV window, cropped slightly, for composition, Auto WB.

Today I happened upon a Great Crested Flycatcher. Awesome birds, very spritely and playful, but tough to track down for a photo.

Lol.... Well... My back yard is a big place. lol I was thinkng most were tired of the Loon.. its all I have posted as of late. The Moose are getting larger antlers, the Marten have gone to have their young, The Loons are on bigger water now,... I did see my fav Beaver the other day sitting on a bank cleaning her self. Good to know she's made it through another winter.

But this last month the Loons are front and centre
