I kinda like "illicit" in this context. :)

Yeah, I quite understood - that's why the writers got their vocabulary mixed up :p

It's important to reiterate that art and porn are not mutually exclusive. It's possible for creative works to qualify as both. As for deconstructing and comparing them, try this: http://www.academia.edu ...ne_Art_versus_Pornography (external link)

Pornography is in the eye of the beholder; but so is art. In my view nudity in itself is not pornographic per se.

It is all about quality, taste and in some extent intent.

Is Michelagelo's David porn? Are Boticelli's paintings porn? If not why not?

Pornography and art are not mutually exclusive. You may argue that Henry Miller's books are pornographic, but they are also considered works of literature.

What you find on porn sites is almost all not art, but then most of the stuff some photographers label as fine art isn't either.

So?

Pardon me, but researchers have found that there is a difference. I don't make these things up.

From memory only: The article at your first link basically covers the territory. (Straight) men are more aroused by the mere sight of women's bodies than (straight) women are by the sight of men's. Women respond more to emotional cues. Steven Pinker wrote that Playgirl magazine, an analogue of Playboy ostensibly intended for a female audience, in reality appealed mostly to gay males. Pinker stated an evolutionary rationale for the sexes' different responses to nudity in How the Mind Works.
