Interestingly the Cardinals are scarce today and yesterday. Only the Finches have appeared and one Chickadee....might have something to do
with a new hawk that was sitting on top of the main perch area for the songbirds ;) AND this was not a RTH, well if it was it was a juvenile but
looked very Cooperish to me! If so that would be a first and a huge event. As I've mentioned before a Coopers needs to come here-it would be a Dove buffet for them daily! I just hope
they eat squirrels too, I'm overrun now and they are big and fat! They've also gotten wise to the old man with the pellet rifle so I need help!

Cardinals in America must be the same as this little fellow over here (as in a common bird).

Had a visiter just a few minutes ago, I grabbed the 100-400L off the table and it had a 7D on it... I feel for those still using it and wonder how I ever stayed with photography using one. Yes the 7DII is always broken but it will capture a bit more detail. I can't believe I had to work so hard to get an image .... Not that long ago.

Still stumbling along with my ol' 7D myself. (Though it's much better than the 50d that now acts as a backup).
Now if I could convince my spousal unit that more $$$$ on a new body is a splendid idea, indeed...the mark II would be very nice (especially if it was attached to a 100-400 mark II lens).
