Too bad they did not paint the door to match the original paint job. Stands out like a sore thumb....sigh....:-(

They probably bounce cars and trucks off them at grade crossings occasionally.

Not a brilliant shot but just to test a new photo hosting site following the Photobucket fiasco.

BR Standard 4MT at Ropley station at the recent Watercress Line Summer Gala, and boy was it hot!

I took this among a few others a couple of weeks ago at the Severn Valley in Bridgnorth in the UK. It's a British Rail Class 52 D1062 Western Courier diesel-hydraulic locomotive which was built in Crewe in 1963, it has recently undergone a overhaul which included a new paint job in the traditional BR colours of blue and yellow.

With rain falling 45699 "Galatea" heads through the suburbs of York with this weeks "Scarborough Spa Express".

Fortunately for all on board it was sunny by the time it arrived in Scarborough.

Not raining this time but still pretty dull as "Flying Scotsman" starts the long climb to Ais Gill and then on to Carlisle.

Local BNSF switch crew coming back into the local yard. The new H3 paint scheme actually looks decent when fresh lol - once it gets dirty it's pretty yuk!

Shot is SOOC, no editing what so ever.
