I'm asking because I'm a huge fan of the Quick Rapid/black rapid systems, which put the camera at waist/hip level and have a very fast draw. Weight goes on the shoulders instead of the neck.

      | Dec 09, 2017 07:55 | #52 Before the B-Grip, I had a Black Rapid RS-7. The Black Rapid is a nice strap and is comfortable BUT, I almost dropped my camera because of the Black Rapid strap. The strap itself is great but the problem with it is the design, the fastener that attaches the strap to the camera using the tripod mount is the problem. The locking feature for the fastener is a rubber grommet which once it moves a little, it WILL come loose.

Haven't found a reason to switch at any price. The only daring thing I have done is I recently got the dual harness, like the straps, the Optech dual harness rig seems to work just as well as ones that cost 3 to 5 times as much. A very useful rig for fast dual body work. The bonus is the clips work with all the straps I already have. No changes to the camera or lens straps. I too, like the OPTECH Dual Harness and how it supports the weight of both cameras across the shoulders rather than hanging around the neck. See my images at http://rpcrowe.smugmug.com/
