Failure to Catch a Treat

I tried my hand at capturing my dog trying to catch treats. Well she didn't even try to catch them. She just looked at it and let them fall to the floor. Her expressions were great. I even tried tossing her ball with no luck. Which is quite surprising since she loves playing fetch and always tries to catch the ball. LOL

These are great, her 'hold' command is overriding her 'catch' command!

These made me laugh so hard. The expression on her face is priceless. Great shots!

My dog does the same thing.

He looks at me like........'what the heck are you doing? Why are you throwing food on the floor? I'm right here...just put it in my mouth...'

Great expressions.

The "I am not acting this out" expression.

Very nice.

Too fun! A couple years ago a photo of a dog catching a treat was a ribbon winner at the Iowa State Fair. But that dog had his mouth open and the treat was still flying towards the open jaws. I like yours better. Dogs can be stubborn, can't they?

Oh, yeah they can! She loves to play fetch and always tries to catch a ball or stick, so I thought for sure she would at least try and catch her ball. The minute my camera is out she freezes up or turns the other way. Gotta still lover her. LOL

Our dog also does like this some times. :)
His mood is important to capture these type of shots
