Yes you are correct it worked!! I'll shoot tomorrow and see how it turns out. Let's see if that peak focus works with live view off. If everything works fine it will be time to upgrade to a a7ii!

It should. My Fuji is same way. I have assigned one of the Fn buttons to turn on/off the preview. Comes handy when shooting in the studio. I have folks using Sony A7rII in my studio photography class at work and no issues with Sony.
