6th day out of the hollow for this Powerful owl chick. It get's bored with me fairly quickly now.

I'll have to check in on this one-eyed male, I suspect he has a partner and chick or chicks in a nearby hollow.

Great crested grebe and chicks, photographed at the Bolle di Magadino Nature Preserve in Switzerland a month or so ago. I love the stripey young 'uns! They were a long way off, so these are heavy crops. Apologize for the quality!
