keeperseeker Cream of the Crop ![]() More info       | My experience,,I have both of them,,,is that your keeper rate will be much higher with the 1.4X. you can get good results with the 2X,,,but it is very important to have all your duck in a row,,and then some luck on top of that. My 2X is the only photo related purchase that i have regretted. I think I thought I thunk,,just before I made a stunk !

I know I wine a lot about my 7DII but I'm thinking I need to sell this one and get a new 7DII to replace it. My first 7DII was adjusted by Canon on a rear wheel replacement which cause all my trouble. Im not sure why they didnt just replace the wheel and send it back to me. BUT right now i have the top wheel going funky, moves sometimes or moves 2 or 3 clicks on one click of the wheel. Sure makes manual a bit of a chalange. I have to check with more dilagents in the view finder to be sure im changing to my train of thought while shooting. Im still shooting it like it work as normal but its broken. Nothing i can do. Today i just let it shoot all on its own while we relaxed lol. Wife grand daughter and myself looking over the landscape. I still love the 7DII but there's some things that need to be o the new 7DIII, like endless shooting in raw, dont care what card. And metering on active point, if it doesnt have these two im gona be disappointed. I'm in the trailer right now.. looking for Moose and bear in the morning. But yes.. i wish it was a working like new 7DII i was carrying into the field. Jeff ........7D Mark II, 7D, 70-300L, 100-400LII
