QUOTED IMAGE

I've got a couple of pictures of a Monk seal in Kauai. Did this one have a radio transmitter on it's back?

Not that saw any. The picture was taken in Oahu. According to the volunteers, protecting her, she had just lost a baby and was depressed and had beached herself.

Monk Seals are endangered and they keep a close eye on them in Hawaii. This Monk Seal is on the island of Kauai and in the first picture you can see the radio transmitter on it for tracking.

It rolled over so you can't see the transmitter any longer.
