yeah, it's pretty high...not many beaches around...they also weren't letting that much water out of it so that people could raft the truckee river

Arrived late in the day and the sun was not my friend. Should have driven straight there from Melbourne early instead of doing Ocean Road first. Wish I could have done a helicopter tour or overnighted but a family of 5 doesn't exactly lend itself to flexibility
