I'll be in a motel parking lot in Ontario, OR. Only 1:28 of totality, but I'm afraid I-84 will be jammed if I try to go further north. I'm practicing every day to get my routine to the point where it feels natural.

St Joe Mo. or there about dependent on weather. 2 minutes, 41 seconds totality.

I have family that live in kansas city Mo. A 12 hr drive for me from michigan. I was planning on shooting from their backyard, but they will only experience 40 seconds of totality as best as I can tell. So, I may drive another 20 or 30 miles north to get closer to two minutes of totality.

find a park somewhere local. It's supposed to be my son's first day of 3rd grade but I'd rather we do this together


I have been here for a while now, i don't lurk i just don't post alot. I have 2eyes 2ears and 1 mouth. My eyes and ears outweigh my mouth in life. Its just me...

I'll be in Auckland, New Zealand. Way out of Eclipse photography range, but you work with what you've got...


some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", 1D MK II converted for IR, and now an M5

Moves when the sun is in a different part of the frame so it isn't sensor dust.

96% coverage where I'm at. I'm not going to drive 4 hours to get to 100%. I'll just enjoy the photos and video from everyone else.
