Today is the final day of South West Trains operations, here's my favourite one of theirs taken back in April in The South Downs.

I heard about the contract going to another company on BBC SouthWest, but didn't know when as my sat transmission fizzled out at that very moment due to storm clouds last evening.

I wonder what the effect on schedules is going to be, especially since for example six trains per day from Exeter to Plymouth (possibly beyond) and presumably the same number on the return trip are financed/supported by EU money.

Will the Brexit-NHS-billions cover that too?

I want to die peacefully, in my sleep, like my grandfather.
Not screaming, terrified, like his passengers.
