Are you referring to the ball players mural? I don't know football so I don't have a clue. Football may have been a bit different in the 1930s too.

Hahaha. From a more innocent time I suppose. Nobody said, 'hey Bill, you're doing it wrong!' Hahaha.

It is the unfinished Congress Hall at the National Socialist German Workers' Party (N A Z I ) Rally Grounds, Nürmberg. Designed to hold 50,000 people it was going to taller and covered by a single span roof.

Cool ! I see you saw it and "Liked" it!

It was wonderful to be out there on a nice sunny day, packing a small old film camera, and not set up with the gear or the skills to capture such a "moving" scene!

It's a pretty magical place for sure. You're experience reminds me of when we were out there about 5 years ago and hiked to False Kiva, a well known but hard to find gem in Canyonlands. While we were there a couple of lost hikers joined us, one using a film camera. Us Digi's were snapping through the sunset as we do, but after setting up his film camera the guy just waited until he thought the moment was best took a shot and packed up his meager gear. Old School!

Nice shot. If you ever get a chance, there is another place just like this is called "40 Casas". It's in Chihuahua Mexico, about four hours south of El Paso, Texas. It might be better for things to settle a bit:(.
