You gotta get there just before sunrise, then you can get the light bouncing around in those hoodoos + the wide angle sunrise shot. Mid day probably better to hike down into the canyon and get the hoodoos plus blue sky as the blue/orange make a good contrast especially if you have a tripod/polarizing filter

You have got to be an old timer, like myself, or a music buff. Nice shot. :p

appreciate the comment. My limited mobility is a problem and I'm not as young as I used to be...

Today was just Un Be Lieveable.

These pictures only describe about .000000000000001% of how cool it is to actually see in person!

Photographing over 20 years, easily the coolest thing I've ever seen!

This is an old mining shack, above 11,000' in Mayflower Gulch, fairly well know place here in Colorado, pretty close to the end of the line for wildflowers for this year.

Just a couple of quickies I processed this morning. I have more that I think are going to be quite amazing, but I didn't get a chance to work on them much this morning. By the time I got home yesterday through all the traffic moving south in Georgia, I was beat!

Rad!!!!

I wish I had bracketed, or heck, just had three more cameras doing stills. You really cannot have enough cameras. An equitorial mount would have been handy for the telephoto shots while it's shooting video.

I felt like the more I could automate things, the more time I had to take it in with my own eyes. Just ASTONISHING!!!!!!!!!!!

Looking forward to more of your pics!
