im a big fan of having the subject push their face slightly toward to camera, this removes the tucked chin/ turkey neck look.

I think it'd look more businesslike with the jacket straightened out (grab the left side, below the collar, and pull forward) to cover that gap on her left shoulder so that she seems to be wearing a complete blouse.

Some test shots for publicity for yet another music project she is doing. Tough lighting spot at the piano, photographing people is not my thing!! This is in my living room which is music practice space......

I like the mood and emotion in this photo. Is there any more to make the reflection between the model and the camera? Also is that a Hammond organ behind her? The reflection of the top is cool too.

She's very pretty. I didn't notice right at first, those sunglasses kind of pull your eyes straight there! LOL

That is a Hammond organ we own besides the Yamaha grand. And several digital keyboards....she's a pro....

I did another session the next day with her hair down, as that was what was requested for the publicity campaign. Some of them came out pretty nice. I tried to keep the Hammond keys' reflections in the piano lid on all of them with mixed success.....
This was the favorite of everyone, except perhaps me, there were a couple of others I liked equally or maybe more but ......I did them all in color and monochrome, I liked most all of them actually.
