Not bad considering it was with my Powershot G9 X. I used my solar filter glasses.

Awesome shots. I decided to take a few but none compare to the rest here. The most unique I can share is this shot through the clouds with my iPhone 7plus 56mm eq lens and then zoomed in 100% on the phone. I’m north of Detroit with about 80%. My wife was near Dubois for work. Lucky!

From Chesterton, IN, we had about 86.7% partial.

I am not sure why during the peak for us, the image got so hazy. I was on a timer. Unsure if it was the clouds or I should have changed my exposure, but the rest of the partial (before and after) looked a lot like my second shot.

I will be sure to get to the path of totality for 2024!

Best ever.

I been waiting for a wide angle shot. This is exactly how I would of shot it had I been there. There'll be 1 million posts on the sun itself. Thank you for sharing.

Clouds were unmerciful in central Missouri until just a couple of minutes to totality. I'm actually amazed I was even able to get these as I wasn't as prepared as I should have been but I'm probably not alone on that LOL! Anyway, the rest of the eclipse was clear and I was able to get a bunch of shots afterwards as well. Quite the surreal experience for sure!

My pathetic set-up, a piece of cardboard over my lens with a hole in it and one eye piece from $1.99 eclipse glasses taped on

Morning fog and stratus in the Nebraska panhandle burned off shortly before the start of the show. From just south of the center line in Arthur, NE where we had 2min 20sec of totality that did not disappoint.

Had total eclipse here in central MO, took about a hundred pics or so. Can't see it in this resolution, but on my laptop you can see stars in the background.
