This was a fantastic lens for my recent trip to Iceland. This is Godafoss.

I just picked up this lens, and decided to test it out with a panorama of Brisbane city from Kangaroo Point :-). This pano was made from 6 HDR images in portrait orientation, shot at 16mm. Larger version on Flickr.

Cheers,
Stephen

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

Upgrading from the Canon 17-40 and was looking at this thread to decide between 16-35 f/2.8 III and this lens and I was swayed to go with this one. Can't wait for it to arrive! Thanks for everyone sharing, it helps people tremendously when it comes to purchasing a lens. Will be used for landscape, close up macro (with 12mm ext tube) and for my new grandson arriving in a few days as well.

Very impressive ride!

I never realized how HUGE those beasts were until I saw one up close at the USAF Museum in Dayton.
