I think this is a species of Merganser but my book says they are normally here in winter. It's summer. Anyone know for sure?
Isn't it a cormorant (Phalacrocoracidae)

Two incredible faces.. into faces these days. both hours old really and haven't been tarnished by man or beast yet. They both think I'm at least as good as any jay or hairy mom could ever be lol The hairy is as close to coming to hand as any hairy I have ever known.
Beautiful birds and beautifully presented
The color scheme goes well ....! Beautiful birds and beautifully presented
