Last month I decided to jump in my car and just start driving. I left Chicago and eventually ended up in South Carolina. I took my digital camera, but I mostly shot film with my Canon Elan IIe with an EF 50mm 1.8 STM lens. These photos where all shot on Kodak Portra 400 and converted to b/w.

Nice! I like the crates in particular. I'm from Ga. and know Valdosta only to well. I've driven US 41 from Miami to Chicago and there where alot of photo ops especially in FL, GA and IN. Also US 19 al the way cross country is a great photo trip. I generally take the long route whenever I can and if you like this sort of thing, I would highly recommend a drive through Fl on US 27. Best road I've ever driven, probably about a dozen times at this point. It is "old Florida's" last stand and the south central part toward the Everglades is just sublime. Be safe!

Thanks! US 27 sounds interesting. I'm definitely going to have to look into that.
