... My question is how can I get rid of the blue around the trees. I have tried a lot of tricks in PS everything I've tried has not worked.

Did you try to clone some leaves over it? Everything is OOF anyway.

Not the best image, but I've been trying to get a shot of this heron for a long time. He snacks at our pond but as soon as you get in distance of a shot he takes off. My question is how can I get rid of the blue around the trees. I have tried a lot of tricks in PS everything I've tried has not worked.

You can try duplicating the layer, adding Gaussian Blur and changing the layer properties to "Color". Adjust the Gaussian Blur to suit the needs.

Great Blue Heron
... the green stuff in the pond really did a number on the reflection giving the bird a green tinge.

Beautiful shot. Might benefit from a little more brightness, or it could just be my monitor.

Thanks Larry ! No, your monitor is probably fine. I already brightened it quite a bit.....it was getting close to dark when this guy landed in front of me.
