I'm pretty sure the 5D3 is -2EV and the 7D2 is -3EV, not 0EV.

(Yep, just checked my manuals... I own both)

yep but only the center point with f2.8 or faster lenses.

wow I didn't expect so many people to respond! Thanks everyone! In the end I kept the 6D. I really don't shoot people much. City buildings, mountains, and stars, really don't need a fast AF. Being that it was my one and only gripe, I decided to keep it. I don't have enough glass to where I can't jump ship to Nikon, Sony, etc. but I think Ill stick it out for some time and see how canon progresses with their innovations. Maybe all the flak they've gotten from the 6Dmk2 will raise a few eyebrows in canon.

I did go to a camera store and held a few cameras. I really enjoyed the Sony a6500 for its size but I'm not sure how the IQ would be in low light being aps-c. The view finder was also a little bizarre coming from a dslr. I also liked the Nikon bodies. So who knows. I swap cars quite often, could be my (expensive) future in cameras!

You might want to check your facts again regarding low light AF capabilities of the different cameras. :)

Things changed starting with the 5D3.
