Hello,
So while I'm happy with my current backpack that holds all my gear, I need something smaller and lighter for when I travel or for some small shoots only. I was looking for a nice looking backpack (that looks like a 'normal' everyday use one) that is able to carry 1 body, 2-3 lenses and a 13' laptop. I want to spend <=100€

I was looking at the Manfrotto Advanced Active Backpack I. I personally like it's design: Photo gear at the bottom in a separate compartment while on top it's just a 'normal' backpack. Any opinions? What else should I look at?
Thank you

So I know it's out of your budget, but the Peak Design Everyday Backpack 20L is the best bag you can possibly buy.

Thank you but that's way out of my budget -?

On the other hand, what if I bought a 'camera backpack insert' such as this ( https://www.amazon.co.uk ...ywords=camera+dslr+insert (external link) ) and a normal backpack? Any opinions?

thanks

I used a Lowepro Fastpack for years to carry both camera gear and other daily necessities. Camera gear goes in the bottom, easily accessible from the side, and the top has room for whatever loose stuff you need to carry. I used to carry a laptop in the laptop compartment, a camera body, flash and three lenses in the camera compartment, wallets, phones, sunscreen, medicine (advil, tylenol, etc.), pens, and earbuds in the top compartment. A cheap but very well laid out bag.

Thank you for your suggestions. However, I haven't found a backpack that I really liked so far. I'm ordering a Douchebag Base 15L (external link) soon for motorcycle commuting and college. I was thinking I could use that backpack with this (external link) insert whenever I needed to travel light? Probably only going to be packing a 6d+17-40 and sometimes the 70-200 f4 as well. Would this not be a good idea? thank you

I have a Lowepro Video Fastpack 150 AW - I've used it for the last few years for my 40D DSLR, 1 lens attached, and 2 extra lenses (if I want to carry that much). It also held my 13" MacBook Pro, or my Lenovo 14" laptop.

I just bought a new laptop, the Dell XPS 15" (15.6" screen) ---- it JUST doesn't fit. So I purchased the PRVKE 21 from WANDRD. I just received it yesterday... very happy. Both are excellent.
