Nice. Maybe a bit darker than I'd like for a portrait on the right hand side of the image but still a nice capture

Ok, a little magic here for me lol. Sharpness(so sharp), exposure, color, etc, right on.

Cardinal reds are usually so hard to capture. This is spot on. Maybe the grey skys helped.

jpeg again..just a little exposure added.

I tried again in LR6 with the RAW to replicate and best the JPEG but could not.

I purchased this combo from one of the NY stores yesterday. After spending that much money, I was having some remorse issues, but seeing the results you are getting, I feel much better. Thanks for posting these stellar shots!

Not overly amazing pictures, but stuck on the quality and detail of the pixels.

Is that a broken top beak in the first one?

Yes, it is. There are continuous battles for the backyard feeders and the honeysuckle hedge out front. I see videos on the web of a dozen birds hovering around an open feeder, but it ain't happening here. She has the broken beak and missing half her tail feathers. She is still a regular, saw her this morning...

Evidently, it happens all the time. I read that they do heal but are never the same as the beak grows back with a bulbous scar.
