I only selected 3 images, _MG_0121.CR2, _MG_0123.CR2 & _MG_0125.CR2, processed them in ACR for lens correction and saved as DNG files. Seven images is over the top for this scene for my workflow!

The 3 saved files were then followed by tonemapping with SNS-HDR before tweaking in Photoshop. I found there was a green cast inherited from light coming in through the main window; a color balance tweak soon corrected this. Finally a crop and save.

[Edit] Same workflow as above but I used Photyomatix 6 (Tone Balancer method) for the tonemapping

After loading all raw images into PS ACR, I adjusted the white balance of the 0Ev file, then synced the rest of the images to it. Next, I merged to hdr while still in ACR and further adjusted exposure, shadows/highlights, and white balance.

Saved as a merged .dng to open in PSCC, I still thought there was too much magenta and using a couple of curves and levels adjustment layers, corrected to what I thought was correct colors, not having seen the actual room. I think the room is green and casting a green color on the rest of the furniture.

Lastly, I removed the objects that were partially showing on the left hand wall.

Ok folks - nice job!

This was not a particularly tough image set to merge (there was no ghosting, etc.) but there were some tricky issues that may have caused some thought-provoking edits.

The winner is Gene - very nicely presented and, you were correct - the walls of the room are a pale green. There is also some bounce light filtering into the room from outside that has a slight green cast from foliage adjacent to the house - you can see this on the side of the couch in the foreground - that is being illuminated from light coming from the adjacent room that faces a wooded area with a dense green tree canopy. The ceiling is white and, if you balance the color, you can see this difference. Well done.

The runner up is Butts - for all of your struggles, your rendition is way better than you made it out to be!

Okay Gene - have at it.

Thanks for playing!

kirk

Thanks very much Kirk. I actually got a bit carried away with my edit and removed the magenta patches on the pillow on the left too. I realized later that was a pattern in the pillow, not artifacts.

Here's a ho hum shot looking down the beach at Crystal Cove in Southern California to play with for the next challenge.

Watching this thread for quite long time. You guys creat really nice things I would never think of. I'm taking photos for 4-5 years now but never got into post processing really. Nowadays started watching Anthony Morganti series on Youtube, trying to learn Lightroom. He is a genius in my eyes. Anyway, wanted to join with my humble try :)

Robinson, welcome to the thread!
Great crop and result, I had tried something similar but couldn't get it to work. You have.
