As I previously posted in this thread - THAT IS TOTALLY WRONG. This thread is for PHOTOS and discussions of those photos. The kind of discussion and arguing that is going on here belongs in this thread:

http://photography-on-the.net …/showthread.php?t=1482880

I can't, for the life of me, figure why you folks are mucking up this thread with this rhetoric and so few photos and discussions of those pics.

Thank you!

We've already gone over and over about it's lack of IQ, it's great IQ, you're wrong, no wait you're wrong, I like these features, those features don't make the camera etc in the other thread. I thought the point of the DISCUSS in these xxxOWNERS discuss and post photos...threads was to talk about those images being posted. How you created it, what could you have done better, requesting CC. etc. so that us non-owners could see what people are creating with the camera.

At this point I think there's only 4 people contributing to images.

I'm trying. I'm trying. It would help if the 6D2 was added to the gear list, so we could tell what photos were taken with it. Anyone know who I should ask?

Mods can't help here, Daniel. This is something only Pekka can do. And he's very busy, so it may take a while. Have you asked in the Gear Database Corrections sticky? It's here:

That is because Canon have not sold very many 6D2s. I have been on a number of photo forums and there are very, very few examples posted from the 6D2. 6D yes, 6D2 no.

The price point is high considering the feature set and what is available from other manufacturers.

Thanks I didn't know about this thread, I've posted in there now. I did try PM Pekka as well before but hopefully this thread works better.

When I first got mine, most Sydney stores had all of their preorders allocated with the second shipment almost full too. I got lots of friends who shoot regularly but only upload to Facebook or IG and not Forums.

Ooooo......oww.....boy, you got me there. :p

You have quite an imagination.

Very little gets over my head, friend....except birds.

Listen, chief....use whatever hardware that makes you feel like a real photographer. If it makes you happy, then good on you. I am certainly not going to get into arguing 'hit rates' with you or anyone else, primarily, because it doesn't matter to anyone.....except, perhaps you. I do just fine with the equipment that I have. Maybe someday, you will too. ;-)a

What about your hair?

I do, however, shoot a lot of BIF and I have no trouble at all catching a great number of good, usable pictures. You just have to know how to use your equipment. ;-)a

Maybe someday I too will be so skilled! Waiting for your lessons...

I've been watching to find a 6DII used but that wasn't happening so I bit the bullet and ordered one on Amazon. Just got it yesterday so am excited to start practicing with it. Also ordered a 24-70 2.8L II. This is adding to my 7D setup that I've had for years.

Disagree...Anything that allows the photographer to take better quality pictures (known as IQ!) is a plus. That includes all new and improved camera features which obviously contribute to IQ. Don't understand why this is so difficult to comprehend...-?

I accidentally clicked on "like" for this post. I don't see how to withdraw it.

I don't care about upping the count, but I don't like having my name in the list of likers.

You can't at the moment. But it will be possible in AMASS 2.0 so you just have to wait a while.

Some very nice shots everyone. I have a 5D4 and a 7D2. I am thinking about selling my 7D2 and having 2 FF bodies. Not sure which way to go. I'm toying with the 5DSR but a tad costly. Not sure I need 50 megapixels. Thought about maybe a 6D but at 26 megapixels the 6D2 looks interesting. It would be for landscape and architecture so I don't need the crop-ability like my 5D4 which I mostly use for wildlife now. I see some pretty nice detail in architecture shots and the sensor looks pretty silky. My 24-70 II would fit nicely on it.

I read on other forums that the sensor is a bit disappointing compared to the 6D. Not that it is bad, just not not a big leap which is pretty much said about every new camera release. Some beefs about the AF point spread but looked at the manual and it looked good to me. Just opinions, I haven't read any reviews yet and I know nothing of the 6D. I have owned all the 5D's.

Any input would help since there is some real world experience out there now. I'll try to read through the thread.

Thanks in advance.
