I went out to some nice dark skies in Manning Park, BC last week. On Thursday night, I managed to stay up late enough (when you eat dinner at 6 and you're in the backcountry - 9:30pm is late ;) ) to get a decent shot of the galactic core.. My first attempt!

It's a little noisier than I would have liked, but I'm still pretty happy with it!

Thanks - any tips would always be appreciated. It's hard to get to dark sky around Vancouver.
