Not wild about the lighting in this shot. Judging by the hot spots on her knees, it looks like you had the light positioned on the floor or very low and I rarely find that type of lighting flattering to the subject. I don't know what look you were going for, of course, but it doesn't work for me.


Canon 7D, 5D, 35L, 50 f/1.4, 85 f/1.8, 135L, 200L, 10-22, 17-55, 70-300, 100-400L, 500D, 580EX(2).
Sigma 150 macro, 1.4X, 2X, Quantaray 2X, Kenko closeup tubes, Yongnuo YN685(3), Yongnuo YN-622C-TX. Lots of studio stuff.

Hi Bob, thanks for the comments. It was actually lit by a 6ftx4 softbox and that it why I named Black and light as I was aware of the hot knee which was just too close to the light source normal though - as you mentioned:)
