Hi! Looking for some basic guidance...I have a Canon rebel xti and just got a Canon EF 70-200 f/2.8L ISII USM lens. I am learning on the go, and I am trying to take pictures of my son's nighttime football games. So low light, action shots. What is the setting my camera should be on? And should I have the IS on? Thanks so much for any advice!
Actual night football images from a couple of non-stabilized 70-200mm f/2.8 lenses.

High ISO, as high as your camera can use. Shutter priority helps in using a shutter speed that can stop action. The XTi's high ISO limit of 1600 may lead to come exposure challenges.
