There are surely a lot of them. Not just the southwest but pretty much all of the western states have some great ghost towns.

Saea501, those are nice pictures, but I read he was looking for ruins in the southeast.

Look up:
Old Sheldon Church Ruins, Beaufort County, South Carolina
Windsor Ruins, Port Gibson, Mississippi
Bulow Plantation Ruins, Flagler Beach, Florida

I've been to none of these, so I can't say if they are worth your time.
