Great job on this very emotional series of images. It won't be the same in KC without these guys.

Took my 6D and a 8-15 Fisheye lens into the Chiefs game Monday night and came up with these amongst others. The second one is just cropped in a little tighter.

Great shot. I hope you weren't that high up though!

It was back to work today after a week off. My wife and I used some Southwest Miles to go to San Francisco after driving to Denver. While we were there our rental car got vandalized and they stole most of my camera equipment out of it while we were at a McDonalds in the morning grabbing a quick breakfast. I couldn't believe it when I walked out to see a shattered window and my camera bag gone. I still have my best camera and main lens fortunately. The car rental place told us they had 10-15 of them already that same day. They prey on rental cars with stickers that identify a rental. I thought I had concealed it fairly well but the Police officer said they were probably watching me before we ever went in. I am thankful that neither of us were hurt or witnessed it where we could have been injured. Material things come and go but life is precious.

Thank you.

I'm very happy with it. I've sold 6 prints with orders coming in from the UK for more. The guys holding the flag that night had come in from the UK as part of the England's Chiefs fan base.

Our season tickets are in 234. I went up to the Ford fan zone pregame with the intention of taking this shot. I've got another plan next Monday nights game against the Broncos. We'll see how it works out.

Wow, that's terrible. So sorry. I often worry about leaving my stuff in the car. You just never know in this world anymore.

That sucks. Sorry to hear that. I was at a fundraiser over in Brookside several years ago and someone broke into my car to steal my $100 GPS. Fortunately, I had my camera gear on me.

We shoot meet up some time. We are in section 303 on the other side. I've been a season ticket holder for quite sometime. Maybe we could meet up in the Ford Fan Zone on one of the games coming up?

Absolutely. I think this is year 14 for us. Living in Omaha we don't make it to every game though. Usually, our oldest daughter who lives in KC is the recipient of the tickets we don't use. Lucky her. lol

That's terrible! My wife and I visited KC for the first time in June 2017, and we walked all over the downtown around union station. Our hotel was jst a mile or so up the road, so we never rented a car. I didn't feel unsafe walking around in daylight. The WWI museum seemed especially popular with other tourists.

Not being from there, we just tried to be on our guard. Were we lucky not to get rolled?

It's home to me although I live temporarily in Omaha now, I do visit family most every weekends. Like any big city you have to be on your guard. I would not say its an overly dangerous city keeping in mind most cities have good and bad neighborhoods. The WW1 museum is a huge hit and rightfully so I might add. Glad you had a good time.

My error, got the thread title mixed in with your post and confusion took over, apparently! I had my car broken into once, in my mom's driveway, while I slept. I think the car was unlocked. Stole the new stereo I had just put in, so obviously it was some neighborhood punk who saw me installing it. On the bright side I just put the old one back in. :) This was in sleepy little Cedar Rapids Iowa - wow, about, lemme count... 22 or more years ago. Crime has definitely picked up here now, but still on the low side.
