Thanks Brian, I experienced the same thing. My garden was teeming with them in 2016 and I had zero this year.
I found this one and a handful of others in the field not far from my house where I shoot all my sunrises and sunsets. :rolleyes:

Lovely capture Snowy, particularly like the contrasting background colour.

Think the only ones I have seen this year are the invasive harlequins.
