I have a question about high points in Kansas City. Does anyone know if it's possible to get up, high up into the 1931 circa Kansas City Power and Light Building? I knew they did some refurbishing and remodeling but didn't know if it's all private or what.

I believe it's apartments now. High points that I know of include: 1) Crown Point Hotel - ask to go into conference room 2) Sheraton - go up elevator to highest floor and great view out window 3) Top of Liberty Memorial - $5 fee but only open during the day (although was open one night but didn't find out about it until after), 4) City Hall - Free but only during weekdays and if the weather is ok, 5) Westin Crowne Plaza has wide open terrace right outside hotel but it's just high enough to see over trees of the park adjacent to it.

There are also helicopter rides out there but they look too pricey to me.

Nicely done. Don't know if I like the pictures, the girls or the cars the best.

Spent this past Saturday morning with a fellow flickr photographer from Coventry, England who contacted me about going out for a photo walk while he was touring the United States. I took this while he was shooting the same building.
