I am a birder using Canon gear-know nothing about Nikon. That being said, looking to help a struggling photographer who lost his camera in water. All I know is a 3000 Nikon would meet his immediate needs. Anyone have a decent model he can let go for a reasonable amount? I see d3000s for sale on some websites for slightly more than our budget allows.
Any info/help here appreciated. Thank you!

Rog

ps...pm contact is fine, too.

D3300 an D3400 kits are pretty cheap used now. Good sensor on them too!
