I can't decide whether i go colored or black&white on this so I'm posting both.

Which one do you like?

This was shot at 2:30pm. Turning day into night using strobe(AD200 with a 36" Gridded Stripbox)

Color for me. Red tones in the sweater go well with the warm colored light. I'd bring the saturation of the blue on that bowl though. The contrast of the colors draws too much attention to it.

Carlo, the AF setup you gave me for the procession was perfect. all the procession shots are on focus with the 35mm at F2 (AF-C+ Expand Flexible Spot). Have you tried this with the 85GM? i know the 85GM is a bit sloppy in AF department. Have you tried though?

Glad it worked out Vinz.

Yeah I wouldn't use the 85GM during the ceremony....it doesn't do to well if it's constantly making big focus distance changes, which is what you deal with a lot during the ceremony since you're shooting subjects that are all over the room. I really like the 85GM for the reception though...FOV is great for first dances, speeches, etc, and since you're shooting a single subject (not hopping between targets), the AF works fine.

My neighbor showed me his Pabst Blue Ribbon beer in bottles today. I didn't even know they were sold that way. These all had a different theme on each bottle.

No BTS I'm afraid, but I used two strip boxes in front right and left of camera at about a 45° angle and a snooted flash behind and to the right of the bottle to shine some light into the bottle. I used a black foam core board as the background and added the orange light on it in post. I used a dark tile as the stage and spritzed some glycerin and water (50/50) on the bottle and stage.

Do any of you remember me saying that within 60 miles there are 300 of these near me?
A co-worker asked my why so few waterfalls from Iceland. I said meh.
But this weekend a buddy----the gentleman (my personal physician) who bought my a99ii--wanted to do waterfalls;
so off we go targeting two of them. These are not park the car and walk 2-5 min's and setup the tripod. The one today was
45 min's bushwacking down a godaweful slope of 30-45 degrees holding/swinging from laural on way to the river (the nice thing
is it was cold last night and the snakes were burrowed).....that, the hike
back up was 3/4 mile straight up.
The waterfall hike two days ago was cringing in the trail we had to use, plus property owner who abuts the Nat. Forest starts
'target practice' just to intimidate any who want to see the falls---what a Daryl he is!
The good? Well these types of falls are rarely seen, few would deal with the terrain or the hillibillies.
Anyway, this one from two days ago, the water drop is 20-25 feet.
