I just picked up a Rokinon 10mm f/2.8 lens which is manual focus and aperture. It works fine on my 80D, but for some reason on my M6 with EF-M mount adapter the shutter won't release. Anyone have any experience with using fully manual lenses on a M6 or M5, and is there some setting I need to change?

Thanks,
Joe

Hi Joe

I think that with my original EOS M, I had to enable "Release shutter without lens" when I fitted the body to my telescope without a lens. so the telescope was effectively performing as a super telephoto. Give that a try and see if it works.

Cheers

Dennis

Thanks! That did it, I knew there had to be a setting I was overlooking!

Thanks,
Joe
